President: Frank H. Hoell, III

Collins/Fox Strategies Group is led by Hank Hoell (pronounced ‘Hale’) an accomplished and experienced leader, executive, Board member, and management consultant. Mr. Hoell has held positions at the CEO- or COO-level for the past almost 20 years. Though much of his career was spent in banking, Hank has never defined himself as a banker but, rather, as a professional manager who happened to have worked in the financial services industry. His knowledge, skills, and abilities readily cross industry lines. He climbs learning curves quickly. In addition to his work in the financial services industry, Mr. Hoell has also worked for a large, international consulting firm and successfully managed his own small, specialized practice.

Two of Mr. Hoell’s core strengths are found in the areas of Strategic Planning and the timely implementation of those plans.  He is as skilled at assimilating large amounts of data and conceptualizing a strategic response to that data as he is at overseeing the implementation process and establishing effective control systems.

Another of Mr. Hoell’s strengths is his ability to establish high-performing and highly-revered corporate cultures.  He is able to create internal working environments in which staff believe strongly in the organization’s Mission and work diligently to achieve that Mission because of their pride in the company, respect for one another, innate need to be helpful to others, and belief in the value of teamwork.

Mr. Hoell has worked for both larger, sophisticated institutions and smaller, growth-oriented organizations.  He has been involved, at the  Board and leadership level, with a number of Oregon’s leading non-profits.  He received his MBA from Stanford University and his BA from the University of Denver.  He and his wife, Betsy, have three grown daughters, three grandchildren, and one exuberant Golden Retriever.
